For over 100 years, St David’s Presbyterian Church has been a significant presence in the Otorohanga community.  During 2017, the church building and facilities were significantly upgraded, enlarged and made 67% earthquake-proof (New Building Stardard).  The church and hall have contemporary audio visual equipment.  There is a spacious and very well equipped kitchen.

There is a core group of regular worshippers as well as a larger group of people from the local community who still wish to be associated with St David’s.  A number of people assist regularly with church cleaning, flower arranging, fund raising and church catering.  Monthly church newsletters are widely distributed and provide updates about church events and activities.
